Dear colleagues, The 4th annual Clinical Research Excellence Conference – CRX10, Australia's national conference for clinical researchers – will be held next week on Thursday 5th and Friday 6th August 2010 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. The program will consist of thirty-three speakers including keynote presentations from the following highly regarded speakers: Thursday 5 August 2010 Professor Richard Larkins, AO, Ex-Vice Chancellor Monash University, Chair of EMBL Australia Professor Jim Bishop AO, Chief Medical Officer, Australia, Department of Health and Ageing Friday 6 August 2010  Professor Patrick McGorry AO, Australian of the Year 2010 Professor Warwick Anderson AM, CEO NHMRC We all share the responsibility for improving the quality and translation of our research into clinical practice to ensure we remain both globally competitive and a regional leader in improving health outcomes for current and future generations. We must all work together to promote the successful future of Australian clinical research, particularly by encouraging talented younger individuals to pursue careers in clinical research.
